Before starting OnePage, Will was one of the Founders of Billpoint, Inc., which pioneered the concept of online person to person payments. Billpoint became the leading provider of person to person payment services and was acquired by eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) in 1999 as a payment solution for their online auction marketplace. He has also been in senior management positions for Excite and Classifieds2000 (acquired by Excite in 1998), Andersen Consulting Strategic Services (Accenture), and IBM.
Will has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Business Administration (High Honors) from the University of Florida.
Will Chen is a 2006 Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow and was the recipient of the 2003 Clark Butler Entrepreneur of the Year by the University of Florida. Will also serves on the Board of Advisors for the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Florida College of Business, as Board Director of the Harvard Business School Asian American Alumni Association, and serves as Chairman of the Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA), Silicon Valley¡¯s leading technology business network for the Pacific economy focused on promoting the success of U.S. and Asian technology enterprises.
