Glenn Solomon£¬Granite Global Ventures£¬Managing Director Close Window

Glenn Solomon is a Managing Director in Granite Global Ventures (GGV) Silicon Valley Office. He brings with him over 12 years of venture capital experience, and focuses on investments in software and e-commerce.

Prior to joining GGV, Glenn led Partech International¡¯s software and internet group, and was responsible for leading successful investments in the storage, security and e-commerce sectors. Glenn¡¯s past investments include: Broadbase Software (acquired by Kana), Digital Island (acquired by Cable & Wireless), Pentasafe (acquired by NetIQ), Vignette (NASDAQ:VIGN) and Datacenter Technologies (acquired by Veritas/Symantec). Since joining GGV Glenn has invested in Isilon, Successfactors and Quinstreet. Glenn previously worked with Goldman Sachs and SPO Partners.

Glenn received his MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Glenn also earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford, where he started on three NCAA tennis championship squads. He co-founded and continues as a director of The Spotlight Foundation, a foundation dedicated to funding social entrepreneurs who are focused on improving the education of at-risk youth.
