		Aaron Gershenberg is a managing partner of SVB Capital. He is responsible for fund and direct equity investments, as well as venture fund management. Gershenberg is also a managing director and board member of SVB Strategic Investors Fund, L.P. and Silicon Valley BancVentures, L.P. He is a member of the SVB Capital Operating Committee and Silicon Valley Bank's Investment Committee. Gershenberg has published articles in the Venture Capital Review and he has moderated and spoken on numerous industry panels. Gershenberg joined Silicon Valley Bank in 1999, with more than 20 years experience in financial services. Prior to joining SVB, Gershenberg opened the Northern California region for FIRSTCORP, a venture leasing company, and financed more than 50 start-up technology companies. Gershenberg was part of the consulting practice of Deloitte & Touche and investment banking group for Union Bank of California. Gershenberg earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Wesleyan University, and a master's degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
