Kyung Yoon is Vice Chairman of Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. and a member of the Office of the Chairmen, which directs the firm¡¯s Board of Directors, CEO and other marquee search assignments on a worldwide basis. One of her functions is to act as a bridge between the United States and Asia Pacific.

Since joining the firm in 1994 in Menlo Park, California, Kyung has been one of the key drivers in Heidrick & Struggles¡¯ Asia Pacific expansion. She served as Area Managing Partner, North Asia, with management responsibility for the Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai and Seoul offices and spent five years in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Kyung was President of Benten Investments, Inc. Previously, she was President of Pacific Union Asset Management and Vice President of Dillingham Development Company. Kyung started her career with Banque National de Paris.

Kyung serves on the board of directors of SVB Financial Group (Nasdaq: SIVB) and is a trustee of the San Jose Museum of Art. She is President of the Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA). Kyung also serves on Harvard University¡¯s John F. Kennedy School of Government Women¡¯s Leadership Board and on the advisory boards of Stanford University¡¯s SPRIE Greater China Networks Project Advisory Board and Affinity Circles, Inc.

Kyung obtained a bachelor's degree in economics and French from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, and holds an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago.
