Jeff Herbst is the Vice President of Business Development at Nvidia Corporation, one of the world¡¯s largest fabless semiconductor companies with yearly revenues exceeding $3.0 billion USD. In this role, which he has held since 2001, Jeff leads Nvidia¡¯s mergers and acquisitions strategy, investments, partnerships and other strategic business relationships and transactions. In the past one year alone, Jeff has led transactions by Nvidia in the United States, China, Taiwan, India and Finland. Prior to Nvidia, Jeff was the worldwide head of corporate and business development for the AltaVista media network, and also served as the general manager for AlterEgo Networks (later acquired by Macromedia), which provided content delivery infrastructure software for wireless networks. Earlier in his career, Jeff was a partner with the law firm of Wilson Sonsini in Palo Alto, California where he specialized in corporate finance, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and other strategic business and intellectual property-related transactions. Jeff holds a B.S degree in Computer Science from Brown University, and a law degree from Stanford Law School.
